Rhonda's Promise, Inc. is a dedicated nonprofit organization with a profound commitment to empowering women and girls at every stage of their lives. The organization focuses on providing a wide array of educational opportunities. These opportunities encompass not just traditional educational programs but also workshops and seminars that cover essential life skills, financial literacy, career development, and personal growth.
In addition to its educational initiatives, Rhonda's Promise, Inc. serves as a strong advocate for women's and girls' rights and empowerment across various platforms. The organization collaborates with local businesses, schools, and other nonprofits to create a network of support that amplifies their impact. Rhonda's Promise, Inc. envisions a future where every woman and girl has the opportunity to realize her full potential, and through their tireless efforts, they are making strides toward that vision every day.
On June 12th, 2025, Rhonda's Promise, an organization dedicated to empowering young women through education and mentorship, joined forces with ECF Engineering Consultants, a leading firm in the field of engineering, to create an inspiring and educational event aimed at young girls interested in exploring the vast opportunities within STEM careers. This experience was to help foster the minds of young girls and provide more insights into what working in STEM could look like. Lastly, a thank you to Senior Director of Building Services, Jerold Parrott, as Rhonda specifically noted that he was the one who connected her with Marketing Manager, Chelsea Beckton, to organize this event!!

The girls had the opportunity to speak with the VP of Distribution, Jolie Gonzalez, about what ECF has to offer, the roles we have here, and the opportunities she has had while also explaining her journey.

Electrical Engineer Mark Phillips took the girls on a tour of the facility, introducing them to different technologies implemented within the building and allowing the girls to ask important questions about ECF.
We want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Marketing Interns, Roberto Vargas and Keiana Haines, for creating the PowerPoints and assisting the girls in building DIY Wind Turbines—an engaging activity that boosts confidence, fosters curiosity, and emphasizes critical thinking and adaptability.
