ECF Engineering Consultants was engaged to design and coordinate the implementation of a new 480V electrical service to support future equipment installations at a leading elevator manufacturing facility. The project was part of a broader infrastructure upgrade to accommodate increased production capacity and ensure long-term operational flexibility.

As the engineer of record, ECF provided full-service electrical engineering and utility coordination to deliver a robust and scalable power solution. The project scope included:

  Collaborated directly with the local electrical utility to specify and secure a new 480V service point, ensuring utility compliance and minimizing lead time for activation. 

• Electrical Infrastructure Design 

  • Specified and sized a new 480V service panel and service entrance meter 

  • Engineered the routing of power distribution to proposed future equipment locations 

  • Designed a system with future adaptability for multiple load profiles and potential expansions

  Produced a comprehensive set of PE-stamped construction drawings, including: 

  • One-line diagrams and load calculations 

  • Panel schedules and equipment layouts
