Embracing STEM at the ATL Science Festival

Updated: Apr 12

In today's fast-paced technological world, the importance of STEM education cannot be overstated. At ECF, we are committed to promoting STEM initiatives and supporting the communities where we operate. That's why we were thrilled to attend and sponsor the Atlanta Science Festival, an annual event that celebrates science and innovation in a fun and interactive way.

This year's Festival spanned two weeks consisting of 165 events, 47,000 attendees, 3,284 volunteer hours, and 162 partners.

Getting to Know the Community

One of the highlights of our experience at the Atlanta Science Festival was the opportunity to engage with the local community. We met students, educators, and families who share our passion for STEM and saw firsthand how the festival brings people together to explore the wonders of science. It was inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and curiosity of attendees of all ages as they participated in hands-on activities, experiments, and demonstrations.

At the Festival in Piedmont Park, we had the opportunity to engage with kids and teach them about renewable energy. Using Energy Crisis Kits, we demonstrated how solar energy can be harnessed to address environmental challenges and promote sustainability.

Promoting STEM Education

As a company dedicated to driving innovation and technological advancement, we understand the importance of fostering a strong foundation in STEM education. By sponsoring events like the Atlanta Science Festival, we aim to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. We believe that by investing in STEM education, we can help empower young minds to think critically, solve complex problems, and shape the future of technology.

Huge thank you to Attiyya, Chelsea, May, Maxie & Yasmeen for representing ECF throughout the two-week long ASF experience.

Big shout out to ScienceATL for having us, it was a pleasure to be able to volunteer in the community and attend the main event!
